PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advanced glycation end products production inhibitor having safety and high activity.SOLUTION: An advanced glycation end products production inhibitor of the invention is isolated from hot water extract of either or both of peel or fruits of plants belonging to Trapaceae, and contains, as an active ingredient, one or more compounds having an activity which inhibit one or more reactions related to producing the advanced glycation end products from protein and sugar.
