PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress a movement burden on a subject in the rehabilitation taking into account a movement intention of the subject.SOLUTION: A rehabilitation apparatus includes: operation means operated by a subject of the rehabilitation； operation amount detection means for detecting an operation amount of the operation means； driving means for imparting torque to the operation means； control means for controlling the drive of the driving means； and motion state detection means for detecting a motion state of a motion region of the subject. On the basis of the motion state detected by the motion state detection means, and a predetermined motion model, the control means calculates a target value of the operation amount for the operation means, and controls the driving means so that the operation amount detected by the operation amount detection means follows the calculated target value of the operation amount.【課題】被験者の動作意図を考慮してリハビリテーションにおける被験者の動作負担を効果的に抑制すること。【解決手段】リハビリテーション装置は、リハビリテーションの被験者によって操作される操作手段と、操作手段の操作量を検出する操作量検出手段と、操作手段にトルクを付与する駆動手段と、駆動手段の駆動を制御する制御手段と、被験者の運動部位の運動状態を検出する運動状態検出手段と、を備える。制御手段は、運動状態検出手段により検出された運動状態と、所定の運動モデルとに基づいて、操作手段に対する操作量の目標値を算出し、算出した操作量の目標値に操作量検出手段により検出された操作量が追従するように駆動手段を制御する。【選択図】図１
