PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly start/stop an engine in a working vehicle which runs with an electric motor, in which a working machine is driven with an engine.SOLUTION: The working vehicle has a configuration for driving running wheels (1, 2) with a driving motor for running (14), and driving the working machine (8) with the engine (3), and includes a controller (29) for controlling to start the engine (3) when a PTO clutch (27) is turned on by a PTO operation unit (19), and controlling to stop the engine (3) when the PTO clutch (27) is turned off by the PTO operation unit (19). The controller determines whether or not charging is required based on the state of a battery for running (13), and controls not to charge when unnecessity of charge of the battery for running (13) is determined even when the engine (3) is driven.【課題】本発明は、電動モータで走行し、エンジンで作業機を駆動する作業車両において、エンジンの始動・停止を適正に行うことを課題とする。【解決手段】走行輪（１，２）を走行用駆動モータ（１４）で駆動すると共に、作業機（８）をエンジン（３）で駆動する構成とし、ＰＴＯ操作手段（１９）でＰＴＯクラッチ（２７）を入りにしたときにエンジン（３）を始動する制御を行なうと共に、ＰＴＯ操作手段（１９）でＰＴＯクラッチ（２７）を切りにするとエンジン（３）を停止する制御を行なう制御手段（２９）を設け、制御手段は走行用バッテリ（１３）の状態から充電の要・不要を判定し、走行用バッテリ（１３）の充電の不要を判定するとエンジン（３）の駆動中も充電を行なわないように制御する【選択図】 図３
