To provide a walking support device capable of making a load on a user smaller, and supporting training of natural walking with a high quality of synchronizing with the legs in a correct posture of making the trunk straight, and correctly swinging the arms.SOLUTION: A walking support device 10 which advances together with a user includes: a frame； a pair of left and right arm parts (30R, 30L)； a pair of left and right grip parts (20R, 20L)； a wheel including a pair of left and right drive wheels (60RR, 60RL)； driving means 64R, 64L； a battery B； drive control means 40； acting force measuring means of measuring an acting force on the grip parts； and holding means for holding the grip parts in previously set prescribed positions in the front and back direction of the arm parts.
