To provide a walking support device capable of making a load on a user smaller, and supporting training of natural walking with a high quality of synchronizing with the legs in a correct posture of making the trunk straight, and correctly swinging the arms.SOLUTION: A walking support device 10 which advances together with a user includes: a frame; a pair of left and right arm parts (30R, 30L); a pair of left and right grip parts (20R, 20L); a wheel including a pair of left and right drive wheels (60RR, 60RL); driving means 64R, 64L; a battery B; drive control means 40; acting force measuring means of measuring an acting force on the grip parts; and holding means for holding the grip parts in previously set prescribed positions in the front and back direction of the arm parts.
