PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food life-sustaining device including an electrode plate used in the food life-sustaining device to make it widely applied.SOLUTION: The food life-sustaining device 1 elongates a preservation term for food by storing food in high-electric field atmosphere, and comprises an electrode plate 11 freely set or removable on the side opposite to food stored in a food storing device, and an electric power source device 12 applying high voltage on the electrode plate 11.
