PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that economically cleans soil contaminated by a plurality of types of contaminated substances. ! SOLUTION: A method of cleaning a contaminated soil by which soil contaminated by a plurality of types of contaminated substances is decomposed and cleaned by allowing microorganism, fungi, cultivated plants or metabolism of enzymes thereof to be promoted, includes: a fermentation apparatus manufacturing process A1 for manufacturing a fermentation apparatus 1 comprising fermentation tanks 1a, 1b, 1c, ..., 1f with a plurality of groups for fermenting contaminated soil S; a carrying process B1 for mining the contaminated soil P to carry the same into the fermentation apparatus 1; a mixed soil preparing process C1 for mixing and agitating the contaminated soil P, an auxiliary fermentation material S1 and inoculum S2 to prepare mixed soil SA; a curing process D1 for fermenting and curing the mixed soil SA while forcibly supplying air to the mixed soil SA; and an overturning process E1 for allowing the mixed soil SA to be forcibly in contact with the air to promote aerobic fermentation while overturning the mixed soil SA. !
