The present invention relates to an electric hand bike comprising: a main frame where a handle is provided to an upper portion； a driving wheel having a driving motor； a coupling means； a steering angle sensor installed in a bracket； a connector of which one end is coupled to an input shaft and the other end is coupled to a predetermined position of a center portion； a main controller (MCU) controlling the number of rotation of the driving motor； and the electric hand bike capable of controlling driving speed. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method for controlling the driving speed in accordance with a steering angle of the electric hand bike comprising the steps of: determining the rotational speed of the driving motor with respect to a reference value； comparing the measured value with the reference value； and reducing the rotational speed of the driving motor.본 발명은 장애인용 휠체어에 장착되어 상기 휠체어를 견인하는 전동 핸드바이크에 있어서, 소정 위치에 스로틀레버가 설치된 핸들이 상부에 구비된 메인프레임과, 상기 메인프레임의 하부에 구비된 지지축에 회전가능하게 결합된 구동모터를 구비하는 구동바퀴와, 상기 메인프레임의 높이 방향 소정 위치에 결합된 체결구에 회전가능하게 힌지결합되어 상기 휠체어 결합되는 결합수단과, 상기 체결구에 구비된 브라켓에 설치되는 조향각도센서와, 일단이 상기 조향각도센서에 구비된 입력축에 결합되고, 타단이 상기 결합수단의 중심부 소정 위치에 결합되는 연결구와, 상기 메인프레임의 상부 소정 위치에 결합되어 상기 조향각도센서에서 측정된 측정값에 따라 상기 구동모터의 회전수를 제어하는 메인 컨트롤러(MCU) 및, 상기 메인프레임의 하부 소정 위치에 마련되어 상기 구동모터에 전원을 공급하는 배터리를 포함하여 이루어진 조향각도에 따른 주행속도 조절이 가능한 전동 핸드바이크와, 핸들이 정면일 때 조향각도센서에서 측정된 측정값을 메인 컨트롤러(MCU)에 입력하여 기준값으로 설정한 후 상기 기준값에 대한 구동모터의 회전속도를 결정하는 단계와, 상기 핸들이 회전하였을 때 상기 조향각도센서에서 측정된 측정값을 상기 메인 컨트롤러(MCU)에 입력하여 상기 기준값과 비교하는 단계 및, 상기 핸들이 회전하였을 때 상기 조향각도센서에서 측정된 측정값이 상기 기준값 보다 크거나 작을 때 상기 메인 컨트롤러(MCU)에서 상기 구동모터의 회전속도를 감소시키는 신호를 발생시켜 상기 구동모터의 회전속도를 감소시키는 단계를 포함하여 이루어진 전동 핸드바이크의 조향각도에 따른 주행속도 제어방법에 관한 것이다.
