A starting region including a rotational speed range from a stopped state of the electric motor to fastening of the centrifugal clutch, a common-use region corresponding to a rotational speed range suitable for bush-cutting by the electric bush cutter, and a transition region corresponding to a rotational speed range of the electric motor from the starting region to the common-use region are set. A rate of change in the rotational speed of the electric motor with respect to the operation of the operating unit in the transition region is greater than those in the starting region and common-use region.
