The present invention relates to a water-storing flower pot structure with the lighting function, which mainly includes a pot body connectedly disposed with a base at the bottom part thereof, a partition panel installed between the base and the pot body, and a lamp installed to the pot body, wherein the interior of the pot body is equipped with a receiving tank and a water-pouring hole the base has an inner tank used to store water and is equipped with a water-discharging hole used to discharge the stored water and an overflow pipe the partition panel is used to separate the pot body from the base and is equipped with several mesh pots and several discharge-assisting holes allowing the water to flow into the inner tank. The receiving tank of the pot body is used to cultivate the plant, and the mesh pots and the discharge-assisting holes are used to make the soil contact the water in the inner tank, so as to provide the soil with the moisture retention. Accordingly, this invention does not require frequent watering.
