PURPOSE: A pesticidal composition is provided having excellent pesticidal effects to effectively prevent pests and to replace synthetic argricultural chemicals. CONSTITUTION: A pesticidal composition for eliminating pests contains Macleaya cordata extract. The extract is prepared by dipping Macleaya cordata seeds or roots in organic solvent and isolating. A method for preparing the composition comprises a step of dipping Macleaya cordata in organic solvent and fractioning with butanol. A pestide contains the pesticidal composition.
