PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which enables a caregiver to easily and reliably have feet of a seated person be supported by foot supports by one person even in the case of a seriously handicapped person with difficulties in holding postures.SOLUTION: A foot support 5 has: a slide part 52 which is provided so that it can be operated by putting a hand between two legs of a person M seated on a seat part 34 below the seat part 34 and which has an end part supported by a chair part in the way that it can move forward and backward with respect to the seat part 34； and a pair of right and left foot mounts 53 supported by the slide part 52 in the way that a folded posture and a foot mounting posture are selectable. A foot F of the seated person on the foot mount 53 in a foot mounting posture is mounted to support it in the state in which foot F is raised. In the foot support, the foot mounts 53 are provided with a foot mounting structure part 571 which has: a heel support part 571a which receives the sole of the heel in the foot mounting posture； and a slip-off prevention part 571c which engages at least a part of the ankle of the foot F whose sole is supported by the heel support part 571a and prevents the foot F from slipping off downward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9【課題】体位保持の難しい重度の障害者などにおいても、介護者が一人作業で椅座位の人の足を容易にかつ確実にフットサポートに支持させることができる椅子を提供することを目的としている。【解決手段】座部34の下方で、座部34に着座した椅座位の人Mの両脚の間に手を差し入れて操作可能に設けられ、その先端部が座部34の前方へ進退可能に椅子部に支持されたスライド部52と、折り畳み姿勢と足載置姿勢を選択可能にスライド部52に支持された左右一対の足載置部53を有し、足載置姿勢となった足載置部53に椅座位の人の足Fを載置して足Fを持ち上げた状態に支持するようにしたフットサポート5を、足載置部53が、足載置姿勢で、踵の足裏を受ける踵支持部571aと、踵支持部571aに足裏が支持された足Fの足首の少なくとも一部を係止して足Fの下方へのずり落ちを防止するずり落ち防止部571cを有する足載置構造部571を備える構造とした。【選択図】 図９
