PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair capable of turning a body trunk of an occupant and being suited to eating and swallowing practice.SOLUTION: A seat part 32 and a footstool 82 are supported by a seat-part turning device 38 and the like synchronized with each other but independent from a backrest part 34 so as to rotationally turn about an axis vertical to a seat surface. The backrest part 34 is supported by a seat tilt frame 24, a backrest tilt cylinder 74 and the like so as to tilt about a horizontal axis.
