PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvester that prevents earth and sand from being conveyed to a subsequent process by a pullout conveyor along with crops when harvesting the crops of short stems and leaves, prevents dirt due to the deposit of the earth and sand and breakage by the biting of the earth and sand, and prevents the stems and leaves from being accumulated on a machine body without being conveyed.SOLUTION: A root crop harvester is configured by: providing a pullout conveyor 24 for holding and conveying crops at the right and left side of a machine body providing a drive rotating body 17 and a driven rotating body 16 at the lower side of a pullout frame 15 in the pullout conveyor 24 and providing an earth and sand discharge member 170 to a holding endless belt 18, by winding the holding endless belt 18 to the drive rotating body 17 and the driven rotating body 16. The earth and sand discharge member 170 has an inclined part 170t inclining downward from a holding conveyance operating part 18s of the holding endless belt 18 toward a winding area 18i. The upper end of the inclined part 170t is positioned at the upper side of the holding conveyance operating part 18s, and the lower end faces the winding area 18i of the holding endless belt 18.
