The present invention relates to a device for creating a working space within a human or animal body. The device comprises an outer wall comprised of an auxetic component which is configurable to adopt a non-expanded condition and an expanded condition. When the outer wall is in said expanded condition it defines a hollow body having an inner cavity in communication with an orifice for location adjacent a working site within the body such that, in use, said working site can be visualised and/or accessed via said inner cavity and said orifice.La présente invention concerne un dispositif de création dun espace de travail à lintérieur dun corps animal ou humain. Le dispositif comprend une paroi externe composée dun composant auxétique qui peut être conçu pour se placer dans une condition non dilatée et une condition dilatée. Lorsque la paroi externe se trouve dans ladite condition dilatée, elle définit un corps creux ayant une cavité interne en communication avec un orifice pouvant être disposé de manière adjacente à un site de travail à lintérieur du corps de sorte que, en utilisation, il est possible de visualiser et/ou daccéder audit site de travail par le biais de ladite cavité interne et dudit orifice.
