PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect repellent distributor transferring and distributing a high concentration insect repellant-containing gas as it is, at places effective for insect repelling to increase an insect repelling effect, and capable of exerting the insect repelling effect with an air curtain without giving uncomfortable feeling, and to provide an insect proof air curtain device using the distributor.SOLUTION: Volutes 5 of a high density insect repellant-containing gas are ejected from an insect repellant distributor 1 mounted on an air curtain device 22 and from a position of the outer side than an air curtain 24 to the outside against a port opening 21, the volutes 5 proceed as they are and then collapse, the high concentration insect repellant-containing gas starts to diffuse, the insects act avoidance behavior to the diffused insect repellant-containing gas or die, so insects themselves flying to the port opening 21 through the insect repellant-containing gas diffusing zone decrease, and even if there are insects going to the port opening 21, they are weakened with the insect repellant-containing gas on the way, and prevented with an air curtain 24 of less than 4 m/s wind velocity, and thus no insects intrude in a building 20 from the port opening 21.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】高濃度の防虫薬剤含有ガスのまま防虫に有効な箇所に運搬散布して防虫効果を高め、加えて不快感を与えること無くエアーカーテンによる防虫効果を発揮し出来る防虫薬剤散布装置及びこれを利用した防虫用エアーカーテン装置を提供する。【解決手段】エアーカーテン装置22上に載せた防虫薬剤散布装置1から高濃度の防虫薬剤含有ガスの渦輪5を、エアーカーテン24よりも外側の位置から出入口21に対し外側に向けて発射し、渦輪5はそのまま進んだあと崩壊し、高濃度の防虫薬剤含有ガスが拡散し始め、虫は拡散した防虫薬剤含有ガスに対し忌避行動をしたり死ぬから、この防虫薬剤含有ガス拡散域を通過して出入口21に飛翔してくる虫自体が減り、出入口21に向かう虫がいても、途中の防虫薬剤含有ガスにより弱って、到達風速4m/秒未満のエアーカーテン24で阻止され、出入口21から建造物20内に虫が入ることがない。【選択図】図6
