PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a peptide useful for a treatment and/or a prophylactic agent for cancer and to provide an application of the peptide as an immunity inducer.SOLUTION: It is found that calmodulin 2 is significantly expressed in high level in human tumor tissue compared with normal tissue. A peptide fragment in the calmodulin 2 protein is presented by an antigen-presenting cell and has a potential for activating and proliferating (immunity inducing activity) a cytotoxic T cell specific to the peptide.
