PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discover a peptide useful for immunotherapy of kidney cancer, thereby providing an effective therapy and a method for early diagnosis.SOLUTION: There is provided a peptide characterized in comprising an amino acid sequence of (1) or (2), and having an immune induction activity: ILCEAHCLKV-(1), VIEGDVVSAL-(2). The peptide is a protein capable of activating cytotoxic T cells recognizing kidney cancer antigen protein, and it is characterized in activating helper T cells, cytotoxic T cells, or antigen-presenting cells or dendritic cells pulsed in vitro, or an immune cell population comprising said cells by an in vitro stimulus.
