PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flake confectionery outstanding in comfortably crispy crunchy feeling as palate feeling, allowing to sufficiently taste melting feeling in the mouth of oil and fat confectionery and flavor peculiar to oil and fat confectionery, and free from making the hand dirty by oil and fat confectionery.SOLUTION: The flake confectionery is obtained by applying heat-melted oil and fat confectionery dough to cereal flakes, attaching or coating powder sugar, liquid sugar or their mixture to/on the surface of the oil and fat confectionery dough when the oil and fat confectionery dough applied to the cereal flakes is not completely solidified, and baking the product by hot air. It is preferable that the oil and fat confectionery dough preferably contains in the whole oil and fat of the oil and fat confectionery dough, at least 50 mass% of oil and fat whose SFC (solid fat content) value at 20°C is ≥60%, and whose SFC (solid fat content) value at 35°C is ≤10%, and contains in the whole oil and fat of the oil and fat confectionery dough, 5-25 mass% of oil and fat whose SFC (solid fat content) value at 25°C is ≤20%.
