PURPOSE: A method for discriminating deteriorated seeds by coating cellulose powder on seeds to absorb amino acid discharged from the seeds and spraying a ninhydrin solution coloring the amino acid on the seeds to color the deteriorated seeds celadon green is provided. It has an effect on massively discriminating seeds with a non-destructive method. CONSTITUTION: Crop seed is soaked in water in which air is introduced thereinto with an air injector at 20 to 25deg.C for 1 to 5hrs, the soaked seed is dried at room temperature for 30min to 1hr to dry moisture of a testa, then is coated with 0.1 to 1.0g cellulose powder and 0.5 to 2.0ml adhesives, based on 1g crop seed. Thereafter, the coated seed is dried at room temperature for 24 to 48hrs or with forced blowing in a constant temperature oven at 20 to 25deg.C for 1 to 3hrs.
