PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform calling again before the lapse of a limited call duration without making a patient wait even when a communication blocking mode is set.SOLUTION: In the case that the communication blocking mode is not set in a portable terminal 50 to which calling signals are input, when reporting is performed and a response operation part 56 is operated, a controller 20 forms a speech path only for prescribed time between a nurse call slave unit 1 and the portable terminal 50. When the communication blocking mode is set, a control part 51 outputs a communication blocking message to the controller 20. The controller 20 to which the communication blocking message is input does not form the speech path between the nurse call slave unit 1 and the portable terminal 50.
