To provide a hair cosmetic excellent in affinity to and spreadability ON wet and DRY hair, imparting sufficient settled feeling, smoothness, easiness of finger combing and gloss and excellent in settled feeling and showing no stickiness.
SOLUTION: The non-rinsing type hair cosmetic has a water content of &le 5 mass% and comprises: (A) a 12-30C iso-fatty acid and anteiso-fatty acid or a salt thereof and (B) an organopolysiloxane which has a weight-average molecular weight of 50,000-500,000 and comprises a poly (N-acylalkyleneimine) bound to at least one of Si atoms in an organopolysiloxane segment via an alkylene group containing a hetero atom. Here and the mass ratio of the organopolysiloxane segment to the poly (N-acylalkyleneimine) segment is within the range of 98/2 to 40/60.
