PURPOSE: An antibacterial composition for a car interior textile is provided to ensure antibacterial property and to UV stability, and to be effectively applied to a car interior textile. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial composition for car interior textile contains polymeric biguanide or a salt thereof, and a natural plant extract. The polymeric biguanide or a salt thereof is selected from the group consisting of poly(hexamethylenebiguanide) and hydrochloride thereof. The natural plant extract selected from the group consisting of a grapefruit seed extract, a Chamaecyparis obtuse extract, a propolis extract, a honey extract, an herb extract, and tea tree oil. The antibacterial composition additionally contains one or more chelating agents selected from the group consisting of a disodium salt and a tetrasodium salt of EDTA(ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid). The antibacterial composition also contains C1-C6 alcohol.
