An embodiment of the present invention provides a housing for an intravascular ultrasonic (IVUS) transducer. The housing comprises an internal housing and an external housing. The internal housing uses at least one method of an electrode pattern and a groove for a wire in order to connect an ultrasonic transducer to be received in the housing with an electrode. A rear end part of the internal housing can be connected to a rotating shaft for rotation.
