PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition capable of visually stimulating potential consumers and giving satisfactory cosmetic effectS such as conditioning and cleansing effects to the consumers, and which can be easily rinsed off.SOLUTION: A cosmetic composition contains: (a) an oil phase containing triglyceride oil (b) polyol phase containing polyol and (c) a surfactant phase containing nonionic surfactant, in which at least one out of phases (a) to (c) is visually discriminated from other phases, an amount of triglyceride oil to the total mass of the composition is 7.5 mass% or more, preferably 10.0 mass% or more, and more preferably 15.0 mass% or more. The cosmetic composition is translucent, and sufficiently mixed, and shows warm color, particularly warm color with brightness when it is shaken by hand and observed in normal white background light, for example.
