PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical table such as a gynecological checking table 1, hardly causing an injury of a leg portion such as a hip joint of a patient and having the simplified structure of a mechanism for the shift from the leg closing state to the leg opening state of a leg support interlockingly with the shift of a backrest from the standing state to the tilted state.SOLUTION: A pivotable support mechanism for rotatably attaching base ends 7 of leg support supporting arms 14a, 14b to the backrest includes: bearing portions 10a, 10b disposed on any one of the leg support supporting arms 14a, 14b and the backrest and a pivotal portion 15 disposed on the other of the leg support supporting arms 14a, 14b and the backrest and relatively pivotally supported on the bearing portions 10a, 10b.
