PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for deciding fistula recirculation by supply of a substitution fluid during extracorporeal blood circulation treatment.
SOLUTION: The method decides fistula recirculation in an extracorporeal blood circulation treatment apparatus including an extracorporeal blood circulation passage and a fluid passage. In order to decide fistula recirculation, the ratio of the integration of artery pressure signals measured at an artery line at predetermined time intervals and having repeating negative and/or positive artery pressure pulses each corresponding to start or stop of a substitution pump to the integration of vein pressure signals measured at a vein line at predetermined time intervals and having repeating negative and/or positive vein pressure pulses each corresponding to start and stop of the substitution fluid pump is decided.
