PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extracorporeal circulation apparatus and a control method of the extracorporeal circulation apparatus that do not hinder a medical workers procedures, etc. by outputting an unnecessary warning.SOLUTION: An extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1 includes: an extracorporeal circulation management device 10 for managing extracorporeal circulation of blood pump parts 3 and 4 for delivering blood conveyance paths 5 and 6 connected to a patient for conveying blood blood circulation abnormality notification parts 21 and 22 for notifying of circulation abnormality information of blood flowing in the conveyance paths and determination means for determining whether or not the pulsation of the patient is in a cardiac function recovery state.
