The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition including an Opuntia humifusa extract having a skin fibroblast reproducing function as an active ingredient. In particular, the present invention relates to a functional cosmetic composition having an antioxidant activity and a skin cell reproducing function, wherein the functional cosmetic composition includes an ethyl acetate fragment of an Opuntia humifusa extract having an antioxidant activity and a skin fibroblast reproducing function as an active ingredient. An ethyl acetate fragment of an Opuntia humifusa seed methanol extract has an antioxidant activity and a skin fibroblast reproducing function which are remarkably excellent compared to when another solvent or another part is used, so a raw ingredient of a cosmetic composition having an excellent antioxidant function is developed. The present invention is meaningful in that novel utilization of Opuntia humifusa which has conventionally been used for external application as an edible material or a bathing agent was developed.본 발명은 피부섬유아세포 재생능을 가진 천년초 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 화장료 조성물, 구체적으로 항산화 활성 및 피부섬유아세포 재생능을 가진 천년초(Opintiahumifusa) 씨 메탄올 추출물의 에틸아세테이트 분획물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 항산화 활성 및 피부세포 재생능을 가진 기능성 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 상기 천년초 씨 메탄올 추출물의 에틸아세테이트 분획물은 다른 용매 또는 다른 부위를 사용한 것에 비하여 항산화 활성 및 피부섬유아세포 재생능이 현저하게 우수하여, 항산화 기능이 우수한 화장료 조성물의 원료를 개발한 것이므로, 기존 식용 또는 목욕제 등 외용으로 사용되던 천년초의 새로운 활용도를 개발하였다는 점에서 그 의미가 크다.
