An aqueous herbicidal composition useful for killing or controlling the growth of unwanted plants comprises :at least one glyphosate salt predominantly in the form of potassium glyphosate, monoethanolamine glyphosate, or a mixture thereofa pyridine analog selected from the group consisting of triclopyr, or a herbicidal derivative thereof andat least one surfactantwherein the glyphosate salt is present in a concentration less than 320 grams acid equivalent per liter and the glyphosate salt (acid equivalent basis) and the pyridine analog (acid equivalent basis) are present in a weight ratio of at least 8:1, glyphosate being in excessand wherein the glyphosate salt and the pyridine analog are present in a weight ratio of from about 8:1 to about 20:1.
