PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a fatal defect that about 2 weeks are limit for long lasting of effect of a pyrethroid pesticide on cockroach in contact with a component of the pesticide, and that a repellent using a titanium oxide-based photocatalyst is very effective, but there is recently a report that titanium oxide has strong carcinogenicity and human may suck the titanium oxide when applied by a spray can.SOLUTION: By applying a powder or a coating material containing an ammonium tungstate compound represented by (NH3)n mWO3 rH2O as a basic chemical formula, or represented by (NH4)2x (WO4)x zH2O, further (NH4)2x (WO4)x (WO3)y zH2O to a pathway to which cockroach entries, or a gap or a dark place in which cockroach lives, the number of cockroach can be remarkably reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT【課題】ピレスロイド系殺虫剤は成分に触れたゴキブリには効果があるが効果の持続性は二週間程度が限界で、酸化チタン系の光触媒を用いた忌避剤は非常に効果があるが、近年、酸化チタンに強い発癌性があるという報告がありスプレー缶で塗布する際に人が吸引してしまい致命的な欠陥がある。【解決手段】基本的な化学式として(NH3)n・mWO3・rH2Oで表されるか、または(NH4)2x・(WO4)x・zH2O更には(NH4)2x・(WO4)x・(WO3)y・zH2Oように示されるタングステン酸アンモニウム化合物を含んだ粉又は塗料をゴキブリが侵入する経路、もしくは居住する間隙や暗所に塗布することでゴキブリが生息する個体数を著しく減少出来る。【選択図】図9
