The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a roadkill cactus with a variegated tree-like appearance out of a roadkill cactus which grew into other appearances, and to an accessory. More specifically, the method of the present invention includes: a bud pruning process for removing all the extra buds of a roadkill cactus； a top cut process for forming a severed cross section on top of the roadkill cactus with extra buds removed by slicing the top of the roadkill cactus in a transverse direction； a top cross section coating process for applying a sealing means onto the top of the severed cross section of the roadkill cactus to prevent air contact and evaporation of moisture； and a buds growth process wherein the buds at both sides of the severed cross section grow into a variegated tree-like appearance after 3-4 months from the top cross section coating process. According to the present invention, new buds grow from both ends of the lateral side of the severed cross-section to form a cactus with variegated tree-like appearance. Since the invention can be used to recycle roadkill cacti which are bound to be wasted due to their growth appearances other than the tree-like appearance, the cost for material can be saved, and the time for growth can be shortened. Also, the displaying effect of the roadkill cactus can further be enhanced, which is economically effective.본 발명은 만세모양으로 생육되지 못한 로드킬 선인장에 있어서, 상기 로드킬 선인장의 곁순을 다 제거하는 곁순제거과정； 상기 곁순제거과정을 거쳐 곁순이 제거된 로드킬 선인장의 상단을 횡방향으로 절단하여 절단면을 형성하는 상단절단과정； 상기 상단절단과정을 거친 로드킬 선인장의 상단 절단면에 밀폐부재를 도포시킴으로써 절단면을 감싸 공기와의 접촉을 차단시키면서 수분의 증발을 방지하는 절단면도포과정； 및 상기 절단면도포과정을 거쳐 3~4개월 성장시켜 상기 절단면의 양측단부에서 자라는 곁순을 변형된 만세모양으로 성장시키는 절단면곁순성장과정을 포함하여서 절단면의 양측단부에 곁순이 성장되어 변형된 만세모양을 이루는 것을 특징으로 하는 변형된 만세모양의 로드킬 선인장의 제조방법 및 장식구에 관한 것이다.이러한 본 발명은 만세모양의 로드킬 선인장으로 성장되지 못한 폐기대상의 로드킬 선인장을 이용한 변형된 만세모양의 로드킬 선인장으로 재활용할 수 있어 재료비용을 절감하고 생육기간을 단축시키면서도 로드킬 선인장의 장식효과를 보다 높일 수 있는 경제적인 효과가 있다.
