PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a stretchable sheet, whereby a stretchable sheet in which the arrangement pitches of a filamentous elastic body are partially different can efficiently be manufactured using the technique in which the filamentous elastic body is wound around thread-conveyance lengthwise structures and the filamentous elastic body is fixed in a direction intersecting the conveyance direction of the sheet.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a stretchable sheet is a method for continuously manufacturing between a pair of belt-like sheets 50 and 60 a stretchable sheet 3 in which the filamentous elastic body 7 is fixed so as to extend in a direction intersecting the conveyance direction of the belt-like sheets. This manufacturing method comprises the step in which the filamentous elastic body 7 is wound around the thread conveyance lengthwise structures 12 and 13 by using an elastic body winding means 14, the wound filamentous elastic body is conveyed by thread conveyance lengthwise structures 12 and 13 in the lengthwise direction and then fixed between the belt-like sheets 50 and 60. The winding speed, at which the filamentous elastic body 7 is wound around the thread conveyance lengthwise structures 12 and 13, is controlled to manufacture the stretchable sheet 3 in which the arrangement pitches of the filamentous elastic body 7 are partially different is manufactured.
