SOLUTION: This packaging member 1 for a medical instrument is made of a paper material formed able to hold a medical instrument in a box 101 being stored with the instrument in the box 101 for transporting the instrument. The member 1 is provided with a cover part 20 formed to cover and press the instrument stored in the box 101 from the lid side of the box 101. The part 20 is formed with holding parts 27, 28, 35 for holding parts structuring the instrument at predetermined positions.
