PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press through package for a medicine, whose base material is made of paper, and which comprises excellent press through aptitude and easy peel aptitude.SOLUTION: A press through package 10 for a medicine comprises a container 1 and a lid material 3. The container 1 comprises: a pocket part 15 for storing a medicine； and a flange part 17 which is jointed to the lid material 3. A heat adhesive layer 5 is provided between the lid material 3 and the flange part 17. The lid material 3 has a paper base material 31, in which the paper base material 31 contains base paper formed of pulp and a coating layer containing a polyacrylamide resin provided on at least a surface on the heat adhesive layer on the base paper, a freeness measured according to JIS P 8121-2:2012 of the pulp forming the base paper is 600 mL or less, a content of the polyacrylamide resin on the coating layer provided on the surface on the heat adhesive layer 5 side is 0.1-10.0 g/m, and a basis weight of the paper base material 31 is 18 g/mor more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
