PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural and horticultural disinfectant (new seed disinfectant) which is excellent in permeability into deep-infected seeds and the like, has more excellent disinfecting power than those of conventional commercially available cupper disinfectants, can effectively control any of infectious fungal seed diseases, infectious bacterial seed diseases, and nematode (especially Aphelenchoides besseyi Christie) diseases, and can effectively disinfect various resistant microbes at low doses.SOLUTION: This seed disinfect is characterized by containing (a) silver-carried zeolite, and (b) at least one selected from benomyl, thiophanate-methyl, triflumizole, prochloraz, ipconazole, and fludioxonil as an active ingredient.
