PURPOSE: A sterilizing flush handle of a toilet is provided to sterilize harmful bacteria on a flush handle contacted to a human body, thereby keeping the flush handle clean. CONSTITUTION: A sterilizing flush handle(100) includes a sensor(110) and a light source(120). The sensor is positioned in the inside of the flush handle and detects the up and down or rotational movement of the lever type flush handle. The light source receives the signal of the movement of the lever type flush handle from the sensor and irradiates a beam of sterilizing light onto the flush handle for the predetermined time.본 발명은 주기적 또는 비주기적으로 자외선과 같이 살균력이 있는 빛을 변기 손잡이에 조사하여 변기 손잡이를 살균하는 살균 변기 손잡이에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 변기의 물을 내리기 위한 변기 손잡이에 있어서, 상기 변기 손잡이의 움직임을 감지하는 센서； 및 상기 센서가 움직임을 감지한 후, 소정의 시간 동안 살균력이 있는 빛을 조사하는 광원을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
