Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Wirbelsäulenimplantat mit einem Außenzylinder (214) und mit einem axial verschieblich darin gehaltenen Innenzylinder (216), wobei in einer Wandung des Außenzylinders (214) zum temporären Hindurchstecken eines Werkzeuges (212) ein Langloch (226) vorgesehen ist und wobei im Innenzylinder (216) eine Öffnung (230) angeordnet ist. Ein solches Wirbelsäulenimplantat der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, welches nach der Implantation noch präzise und in einfacher Weise eingestellt werden kann wird dadurch erreicht, dass das Langloch (226) und die Öffnung (230) zumindest teilweise miteinander fluchtend angeordnet sind und dass zumindest an einer Längsseite des Langloches (226) eine Anzahl in das Langloch (226) hineinragender Wandungszähne (228) ausgebildet sind.The spinal column implant (210) has an outer cylinder (214), where an inner cylinder (216) is held in an axially displaceable manner.
