An applicator handpiece for laser-induced suture of biological tissues wherein the transmission of the laser radiation on the surface to be irradiated is achieved by means of optical fibres (3, 4, 5) comprising a handle (1) which has a terminal section (2) in biocompatible material with at least one face thereof transparent to the laser radiation and adapted to be in contact with said surface. The three emitting ends (3a, 4a, 5a) of a plurality of optical fibres (3, 4, 5) are arranged within the terminal section, at a distance between the emitting ends and the surface to be irradiated which remains constant during the suture operations.Linvention concerne une applicateur à main pour suture au laser de tissus biologiques, la transmission du rayonnement laser sur la surface à irradier étant obtenue au moyen de fibres optiques (3, 4, 5). Elle comprend une poignée (1) qui présente une partie terminale (2) en un matériau biocompatible dont au moins une surface est transparente vis-à-vis du rayonnement laser et conçue pour entrer en contact avec ladite surface. Les trois extrémités émettrices (3a, 4a, 5a) de plusieurs fibres optiques (3, 4, 5) sont agencées à lintérieur de la partie terminale et la distance entre les extrémités émettrices et la surface à irradier reste constante pendant les opérations de suture.
