PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transplantation hand units which can arrange the entire root of a seedling extending and spreading outward from the lower surface of a seedbed piece and which can insert the entire root into a hole of a transplanting destination, at the time of transplantation.SOLUTION: A transplantation hand unit 20 comprises: a first hand 40 which can pinch a seedbed piece N configured to be planted with a seedling S, to be transformable elastically, and to be able to absorb water; second hand 50 capable of pinching the seedbed N at the lower position than the pinching position of the first hand 40 in the seedbed piece N, so that the entire periphery of the lower surface of the seedbed piece N in which a root Ne of a seedling S extends outward with spreading is gathered toward the center portion of the lower surface; and a water supplying part 47 which can supply water to the seedbed piece N in conditions that it is pinched by the first hand 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
