<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obesity preventing support system and an obesity preventing support method for a pet by which defatted body weight and proper supply calories of the pet are computed by using a computer. <；P>；SOLUTION: The system is designed to carry out a program having the steps of achieving means for displaying a notice that a current data set including data on a current body weight, BCS (body condition score), sexuality, presence of absence of castration and age of the pet should be input as a program installed in the computer, i.e. application software on an input screen of the computer, data input means for inputting the current data set, a current data set memorizing means for memorizing the input current data set, defatted body weight computing means for computing the defatted body weight of the pet using the memorized current data set, defatted body weight memorizing means for memorizing the defatted body weight computed with the defatted body weight computing means, and means for outputting the memorized defatted body weight to an output device. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
