<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope of high economic performance, enabling a single kind of distal end body in the same constitution to be usable for a plurality of kinds of endoscopes with different functions of fluid openings disposed on projecting parts. <；P>；SOLUTION: On the distal end body 5, a projection 8 locally projects forward from a distal end surface 5a, and a recessed groove 27 is recessed from the surface of a projection end surface 8a to surround an observation window 9 for more than half its circumference.
