<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably form side embossed parts without forming bending or wrinkles in a fluid permeable surface sheet. <；P>；SOLUTION: The absorptive article includes an absorptive element 6 set between the fluid permeable surface sheet 3 and a back sheet 2, side nonwoven fabric 7 arranged on both sides on the surface side, a plurality of embossed parts 8 formed on the fluid permeable surface sheet 3, and side embossed parts 10 formed along the length of laminated parts of the fluid permeable surface sheet 3 with the side nonwoven fabric 7. One length direction end side of the sanitary napkin 1 is set as a line downstream end to be downstream in the line flow direction in manufacturing, and the other length direction end side is set as a line upstream end to be upstream in the line flow direction in manufacturing.
