PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nail polish remover composition including γ-butyrolactone.SOLUTION: The nail polish remover composition includes 10-95 wt.% γ-butyrolactone, 2.3899-52.9 wt.% water, and 2.6101-37.1 wt.% additives and the component for removing nail polish mainly includes γ-butyrolactone, whereas the known nail polish remover including acetone has disadvantages of giving out an odor irritating the nose and corroding and injuring nails in removing nail polish.
