A herbal composition for treatment or prevention of avian distress including respiratory distress or any distress leading to disorders or diseases, and diarrhea and viral, bacterial and fungal infections as well as aiding digestion, gaining weight and strengthening immunity thereby decreasing mortality rate said composition comprising predefined amount of Blumea lacera predefined amount of Syzygium cumini predefined amount of Acacia nilotica and predefined amount of Mikania micrantha. Herbal medicament comprising said herbal composition of the invention for treatment or prevention of avian distress including respiratory distress or any distress leading to disorders or diseases, and diarrhea and viral, bacterial and fungal infections as well as avian feed comprising said herbal composition of the invention for aiding digestion, gaining weight and strengthening immunity thereby decreasing mortality rate were also disclosed.
