A herbal composition for treatment or prevention of respiratory distress and viral, bacterial and fungal infections as well as aiding digestion, gaining weight and strengthening immunity thereby decreasing mortality rate said composition comprising predefined amount of Blumea laciniata, predefined amount of Ocimum sanctum, and predefined amount of Punica granatum. Herbal medicament comprising said herbal composition of the invention for treatment or prevention of respiratory distress and viral, bacterial and fungal infections as well as avian feed comprising said herbal composition of the invention for aiding digestion, gaining weight and strengthening immunity thereby decreasing mortality rate were also disclosed.
