A braking system in a vehicle comprises a front brake device disposed on first lateral side, a rear brake device, and an integrated brake actuating means disposed on second lateral side of vehicle. Brake actuating means is operatively coupled with rear brake device. Braking system comprises an interlink member pivotally mounted to front body portion of vehicle for coupling brake actuating means with front brake device. Interlink member comprises first arm, and second arm coupled with first arm. First arm is operatively coupled with brake ·actuating meahs on first lateral side and second arm is coupled with front brake device frontwardly of a head tube in width direction of vehicle. On actuating the actuating means, front brake device and rear brake device are actuated, where front brake device is actuated due to movement of first arm and second arm about a pivot point of interlink member on front body portion.
