An ancillary additive manufacturing system comprises an input device 10, a printing body 20 and a base 21. An ink-manufacturing module comprises first, second and third units comprising tanks for bone cement, platelet rich plasma and periodontal stem cellS respectively. First, second and third inkjet heads 24, connected to the tanks, are mounted on a control unit 23. The inkjet heads may be used to construct a 3D printed model of a mandible for jaw reconstruction by the combination of frozen compressed deposit manufacturing and soft plasma curing techniques, whilst oral resection surgery is taking place, allowing the overall surgery time to be reduced. The system may include temperature control and monitoring units, in conjunction with a computing device.
