To provide a steering device for suppressing a decrease of detection accuracy of living body information of a crew member.SOLUTION: A base body is covered by a covering member 26 in a rim part 16 of a steering wheel 14, and an electrode body 40 is arranged between the base body and the covering member 26. The electrode body 40 is spirally wound around an outer circumferential part of the base body, and the electrode body 40 is wound in a circumferential direction of the steering wheel 14 and exists in at least a portion of the circumferential direction of the rim part 16. Accordingly, occurrence of a change in coupling capacity is prevented, even if a gripping position of the steering wheel 14 of a driver moves and an angle of a wrist of the driver to grip the steering wheel 14 changes.
