PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, in a method for producing electrolytically polished metal compact, a method for producing metal compact in which, while shortening the polishing time, a uniform polishing surface with less polishing unevenness is obtained by a simple method and a simple apparatus.SOLUTION: Provided are: a method for producing a metal compact including 1 or more times of a first electrolytic polishing step of electrolytic polishing under the following condition of (a) in an electrolytic polishing liquid, and 1 or more times of a second voltage electrolytic polishing step of electrolytic polishing under the following condition of (b), and in which the final electrolytic polishing is carried out under the following condition of (b). (a) a condition of applying a voltage for a fixed time.
