A colonoscopy or enema aide is described which decreases friction or “rub” on the anus. Specifically, the colonoscope or enema tube is placed through the device which is then inserted into the rectum. The device prevents air from escaping. The device comprises a circular base and a conical section extending from the base to a tip through which the scope or tube is passed during use.
